Low skills perpetuate poverty and inequality. When done right, skills development can reduce un- and underemployment, increase productivity, and improve standards of living. Helping people develop their skills makes biblical sense. Encouraging entrepreneurship and innovation by creating a safe environment Reshapes Identity, Restores Dignity, and Rebuilds Families.
We strive to inspire creativity, allow for input which communicates value, and provide a market for their products.
Skill Development & Inter/Intrapersonal Skills
The focus of job skills training is to practically give a "hand up" vs a "hand out" and draw out dead passions to inspire hope for a future. The course is set up to develop socio-emotional skills which help them navigate interpersonal and social situations effectively, such as leadership, teamwork, self-control, and grit. Also, we focus on perfecting a technical skill, which refer to the acquired knowledge, expertise, and interactions needed to perform a specific task, including the mastery of required materials, tools, or technologies.
Curriculum
The group meets multiple times per week for devotionals focused on character, communication, and other topics to help them in a professional environment. They also complete the business training to ensure the viability of their products, and they commit to a certain number of production hours in their respective trades.

Génesis Valeria García Mora
I've been serving in ministry since 2015. I love connecting personally with people and supporting them in growth, spiritually first and foremost, but also emotionally and in their skills. We accompany the participants on a process of spiritual growth while also producing a product. We work to improve their emotional intelligence and economic situation which restores their dignity and also rebuilds their families.
