The ministry officially began in 2016 as our founding missionaries opened a small office space inside of their home to counsel those walking through the darkest of times.
We've given the fringes of society a place to belong before they believe. In doing so, we have found that by opening our hearts and homes to the least of these, they begin to open their hearts to receive the Gospel.
Today, Til He Returns functions as an international ministry with outreach in Denver, CO, and a full Ministry Center planted in the heart of San Jose, Costa Rica. The vision is to Reshape Identity, Restore Dignity, & Rebuild Families.

The Mission for the ministry is to regularly impact individuals to discover their identity in Christ, restore dignity, value & worth, and finally, disciple them through life so they can build strong families, ultimate discipleship. Therefore, the ministry gives top priority to programs/outreach that actually bring people to know the person of Christ through discipleship & rather than those that focus solely on meeting physical needs.

Micah & Melissa Mixon are from Louisiana. They were married in March 2011, then moved to Costa Rica in January 2012. They have 3 children: Tyce, Ziza, & Axel.
Micah is passionate about God and an amazing dancer, so couple that with his powerful testimony and you get quite a unique and dynamic inner-city ministry. He can reach some places in this world that very few can. He leads the spiritual development of the team.
Melissa uses her incredible gift of leadership and teaching to cast vision for the hands-on ministry and discipleship/training of incoming staff/missionaries. She has invested herself completely into others, and the fruit of it can be seen in the incredible leadership team.
