Crimes committed by young adult offenders rose from 2.9% to 43.9% in 2016. The unemployment rate in Costa Rica among these same young adults was at 31.82 percent in 2019. With so many "communities" calling for their attention, House of Raw has created an environment for those on the fringes that are rough around the edges and gives them a place to belong before they believe.
House of Raw is exactly that, R-A-W. Youth in these environments require direct, real, authentic everything. It's an intense discipleship community where people find family, a healthy environment, and in some cases, shelter and a warm meal for the night.
The structure is designed to allow for participants to organically find their identity in Christ through discovering their talents and how to use them to share the Gospel and glorify the Lord.
Schedules
House of Raw is a nationally recognized cultural academy and has represented Costa Rica at an international level in many areas of dance. They offer beginner, intermediate, and advanced daily classes. There are all types of urban dance classes offered: House, Krump, Breakdance, Popping, Afro, Dancehall, and more!
