We all go through hard times, no one should go through them alone. That's why we walk through the valleys of life with people. Our counseling program for pregnant and new moms, allows us to truly be present with them and help them make an action plan to move forward with a vision. This fulfills our mission to restore their relationship with themselves & see their position as image bearers.

Schedule

Weekly we meet with our clients in our pregnancy center. We are conveniently located in downtown San Jose, Costa Rica making us extremely accessible for the majority of communities in the Central Valley.

We offer coffee, a snack, community and counseling in our private rooms equipped with an area for any small babies to rest or play. We also offer weekly parenting bible studies, and monthly workshops for the ladies to share their skills with each other.

Curriculum

Inline with our vision of restoration of the whole person, we use Earn While You Learn, a program designed to be a "hand up" instead of a "hand out". We are teaching participants that nothing is given but earned, and everyone has the capacity to earn something.

By completing a few easily achievable tasks, demonstrating their dedication to the program and to do their part, they can earn points. With these points they can "buy" baby clothes, diapers, formula, etc. Now the items received have value and we are able to restore their relationships with creation

We believe in restoring dignity to each believer, and it starts in their ability to participate in the process.

I've been in ministry for over 20 years and with The Hope Project since 2016. I believe in restoration. The Refuge has been a refuge even for me. My hope is that the ladies gain vision for their lives. These ladies are vulnerable. We accompany them through their process so that they can experience the love God has for them and find their identity in Him as someone special and important with a purpose.
