How It All Began
Have you ever been called to do something that seemed crazy? 
That is how Micah and Melissa felt when they started to feel the pull of planting a church. At first, even thinking such a thought was radical that they both were a little hesitant to even tell each other – but that is how you know its a God thing and not just a good idea. After Micah and Melissa finally talked about the idea to each other and realized they were both sensing the same thing, other people in their lives started speaking similar things over them.
After a lot of prayer and counsel from their pastors, Micah and Melissa began a small meeting with a handful of people in San Jose at House of Raw. They started reading the book of Matthew together so that everyone could learn more about Jesus. Since it’s beginning in May, the group has read through the book of Matthew and has started Mark. As a ministry, we have enjoyed getting to share with other believers what we are learning together. It always encourages me how when Micah and Melissa are teaching, they make sure to point back to scripture – especially when questions arise.
